The CE mark is a mark by EU Member States to ensure the safety of products manufactured and distributed within the European market, and products sold in the EU related to the health, safety and environment of consumers are required to bear the CE mark.
Attaching a CE mark to a product means that the manufacturer has made a conformity assessment in accordance with the Essential Requirements of the Regulations or Directives established by the EU Council and is satisfied.
